It Helps to Be Good
We believe in being a good business. In addition to our commitment to sustainable printing practices, Studio Foronda donates a bit of its yearly profits to good causes and committed non-profits. Currently we donate at the end of the business year to Amnesty International and Kiva as well as to the Connecticut Special Olympics. We believe that our good intentions to help client’s realize their business goals should also extend toward those in need.
Amnesty International
Since high school, Anthony has been involved with Amnesty International. Amnesty’s global mission is rooted in a fundamental commitment to the rights, dignity, and well-being of every person on Earth. They are committed to fighting for Human Rights actions around the globe. In many instances they are able to release prisoners of conscience internationally. Amnesty International USA is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Kiva
Kiva is a non-profit organization with a mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty. Leveraging the internet and a worldwide network of microfinance institutions, Kiva lets individuals lend as little as $25 to help create opportunity around the world.
Special Olympics Connecticut
SOCT is a non-profit, charitable organization, which contributes to the lifelong physical, social and personal development of people with intellectual disabilities in the state of Connecticut. Since 1969, Special Olympics Connecticut (SOCT) has provided year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. SOCT serves 14,815 athletes and partners throughout the state through local, regional and state programs.
